Our Vision
Our Mission
Our mission is to honour our Lord and Saviour, by intentionally pursuing the will of God for our Church. Therefore we will do whatever is necessary to give to those seeking a deep union with God every opportunity to do so.
Our Vision
Our vision is that in partnership with the whole body of Christ we want to see the North-Eastern District in which we live transformed into a community that loves and serves Christ.
The Aim
- To provide a distinctive interconnected structure to support people in their journey toward a deep union with God.
- To relate with those who travel with us on their spiritual journey, encouraging them to move into a deeper relationship with God.
- To empower the ministries through prayer and the applied Word of God
Our 8 Point Growth Strategy & Goals
- Awareness
For those who have no relationship with the Church or Christ. We aim to further develop our positive presence in the community so that the wider community will know what we do and how they can participate. - Contact
An invitation to come and see God at work. To meet the community at the point of their felt needs and together through the encouragement help and support of each other begin to fulfil those needs. Spiritual, physical, social and emotional - Pre-Evangelism
An invitation to come and search for yourself. To introduce Jesus Christ and the broad elements of the Christian faith to those who are seeking after God. The aim is to stimulate and open their minds to things otherwise unknown or ignored. Testimonies of our relationship with God are a big part of this area. - Evangelism
An invitation to come and know Christ. To lead people to meet with and know Christ first hand, so they may experience Christ for themselves. - Follow-up
An invitation to come and grow as a Christian. This is to introduce communication skills into the life of the new believer so as to foster a growing relationship with Christ. Through prayer and reading of the Word the two become one and a deep union begins to develop. - Nurture
An invitation to come and share as a Christian. The corporate relationship within the body of Christ is experienced here. The believer receives care from others that helps further develop, nurture and protect their relationship with Christ. Acceptance and tolerance are two key elements seen at this level. - Train
An invitation to come and serve Christ. This is where the identification of gifts are seen and developed in those who want to minister along with team leaders who are trained to multiply the ministry. Modelling is the key element at this level. - Support
An invitation to come and oversee the ministry of the Church. At this point, God's people and His resources are released to minister up and down the spectrum of ministry. Support to team leaders and 'fill-in ministry' is provided to strengthen areas along the spectrum of ministry. New areas of ministry and overall direction are seen and developed through the insight and oversight of those who minister in this area. The key elements of this level are continued development of the ministry spectrum, the accomplishment of ministry goals and forward momentum to fulfil the vision.
Our Distinctive Interconnected Structure
- Is relevant to the needs of and is respected by its surrounding community
- Provides specialised ministry for particular age and/or need-related groups which is continuously expanding with the purpose of building relationships, stimulating personal growth and developing ministry skills.
- It enables mature believers to be fruitful and fulfilled by them effectively ministering according to their gifts and passions
- Contributes to the church locally, nationally and internationally by equipping, sending and supporting mature disciples of Jesus Christ.
Movement from one stage to the other can only be achieved through relationship. Only when the three primary elements of relationship have substance is there enough support to enable movement.
